Welcome to the web site for Olympia Medical Center, a private, acute care hospital founded in 1948. Our community is at the heart of everything we do at OMC. From the services we offer to the staff we hire, our decisions are made to benefit the health and well-being of the people we serve. Whether it’s the purchase of new state of the art medical equipment, the recruitment of a new specialist or the launch of a clinical trial, Olympia Medical Center is dedicated to bringing the latest medicine has to offer to our community.

You’ll see this dedication through our numerous accomplishments, including two recent awards from Health Grades®, the nation’s leading independent quality healthcare ratings company. We’re honored that the hospital was ranked among the top 10-percent in the nation for both pulmonary and gastrointestinal care. We’re also proud that we’ve received two Specialty Excellence Awards™ in these categories for 2007. 

We do more than talk the talk — we walk the walk. We live in this community with you. Our families and friends live here. So, we ask ourselves, how would we want our loved ones treated? Who should care for them? What else can we do to elevate the level of care we provide? The answers are the key drivers in our decisions.
